This summer, the Rho Beta Sigma Alumni Chapter chartered a Sigma Beta Club of 18 boys and young men at its induction ceremony. The Sigma Beta Club is a premier National Program whose existence dates to the early 1950’s. Throughout its existence, the Sigma Beta Club has offered men of Sigma a unique opportunity to develop the wholesome values, leadership skills, and social and cultural awareness of youth at a most critical stage in their personal development.
“The induction ceremony was a deeply moving experience for both the young men and their families. It was a memorable event, marked by a sense of purpose. The ceremony was not only well organized, but also stood as a testament to the positive brotherhood that spans generations, fostering greatness across all ages. Watching my son take his first steps on this remarkable journey was an incredibly special moment that I will cherish for years to come,” said parent Domonique Cooper.
The Sigma Beta Club held its first meeting on Sunday, August 25, 2024.
